HOW TO USE YOUR NEW ROSE QUARTZ FACE ROLLER

Cleanse your face then apply your favourite serum on your skin. Starting with the larger head, work your way from neck to forehead. Roll from the clavicle up towards the chin. Keep on rolling out from the chin along the jawline. Always roll in one direction and refer to the diagram below.

1. Roll from the nose outwards towards the ears in fluid motions continuing to use the larger head, then along the forehead upward and outwards from the middle point between the eyebrows.
2. Using the smaller head, start under the eyes by rolling horizontally above and below the eye - this will help eliminate the eye’s dark circles and puffiness.
3. You can also use the smaller head to roll from the nose to the middle point between the eyebrows.
4. Once finished with the routine, clean the roller with gentle wipes and make sure it is thoroughly dry before storing.

 

HOW TO USE YOUR GUA SHA TOOL

1. Remember to be gentle with massaging and use light pressure with your gua sha plate. If the skin starts to get pink or red, it's too firm and not working on the lymph. Lymph responds to light pressure because it is close to the surface. If your pressure is too firm, you may risk bruising.
2. Keep the gua sha tool at an angle to the skin as this gives a gentle pull on the skin, which is also necessary for the correct technique.
3. The direction of the lymphatic pathway on the face is from the centre of the face, out toward the hairline, so the lymph would be moving to the outer sides of the face and swept all down the neck above the clavicle.

Notes: 

 

1. Use with care, as the Rose Quartz roller and Gua Sha board are delicate by nature. Therefore, remember not to leave the roller in a damp area or steamy bathroom for prolonged periods.
2.  Apply only light pressure when used due to the delicacy of these tools.
3. Feel free to place the roller and the Gua Sha in the fridge for a few minutes before use. Having said that, avoid placing the tools in freezer as the ice will causes them to break.
4. The tools could be cleaned with a soft, damp, vegan cloth and dried with an absorbent towel. Make sure the Rose Quartz Roller is dry before putting it away. Do not expose the Rose Quartz to harsh chemicals.  If roller squeaks, drop a non-comedogenic oil where the quartz meets the metal.
